AGORA editorial design

The independent magazine AGORA provides a space for creative young individuals from various backgrounds. Along with Tamta and Melvin I worked on a number of layouts within the last issue. Since the featured theme was 'movement' the editorial design had to follow the visual style of the magazine as well as reflect this theme. In order to do so, I made the layouts a bit more fluent, more playful and seemingly more chaotic despite following the grid.

The visual identity of the magazine is based on heavy headlines with specific typographic treatment and grid-based body copy. The new issue followed this visual, but at the same time it featured layouts with more intentional white space, overlapping of text and visuals, variable column widths.
